Directors

Toby Cambray

Director

Toby is a founding director and leads the building physics services. He holds a BEng in Acoustical Engineering and an MSc in Theory and Practise of Sustainable Design. He is experienced with a variety of tools for assessing whole-building energy efficiency, component performance and moisture risk assessment.

Hannah Jones

Director

Hannah leads the mechanical and electrical design services at Greengauge. After graduating with a first-class honours in Engineering Design and Appropriate Technology (MEng), she gained experience with Halcrow before setting up Greengauge. She brings to bear her deep understanding of fabric performance in designing simple and robust services.

Adam Lane

Senior Building Services Engineer

Having moved from large building services consultancies, Adam has widened his understanding of building services to low energy buildings and appreciates the benefits of building fabric in achieving this goal. Adam likes to keep things simple when designing M&E systems wherever practical and has interests in Bau Biology.

Emma Mathias-Jones

Building Physicist

Emma is an AECB certified Passivhaus Designer, Low Carbon Consultant, Lighting designer, she undertakes the Dynamic Simulation Modelling (IES VE) for Overheating and Part L calculations. Holding a degree in Architecture and Environmental Design (Meng and RIBA Part 1) allows her to take a broad view of building design and low energy optimisation.

Oscar Garcia-Mendez

Building Services Engineer

Degree qualified mechanical engineer and experienced building services engineer. Oscar is a specialist in 3D/BIM software such as ArchiCAD and he makes every effort to integrate and co-ordinate M&E design with other disciplines (architecture, structure, etc.).
