Join us for the tour of Opera Square, a transformational project for Limerick City. This mixed-use development which is currently under construction is an exemplary regeneration project that holds circularity principles at the core of it.

One Opera Square is a commercial six-storey building providing 10,000 square meters of Grade A, LEED Platinum office spaces. Sustainability and, in particular, Circular Economy initiatives have been at the forefront of Limerick Twenty Thirty objectives for this project, and the challenges and opportunities associated with Circular Economy continue to play an integral part in the development.

In this context, One Opera Square will be part of an EPA-funded demonstration project. IGBC leads the CE-CON project with three other project partners: Limerick Twenty Thirty, Atlantic Technological University (ATU), and Southern Waste Region Office (SWRMO). The project partners will design circularity interventions to be piloted throughout the project.
